Warning & Precautions
Talk to Doctor
- Are allergic to Pramipexole or any of the ingredients of PRAMIPEX 0.5MG
- Have sleep problem other than Restless Legs Syndrome
- Have low blood pressure
- Have uncontrolled muscle movement (dyskinesia)
- Have kidney problems
- Consume alcohol
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor before taking PRAMIPEX 0.5MG
Driving & Using Machines
- Do not drive a car, operate a machine, or do anything that needs you to be alert until you know how PRAMIPEX 0.5MG affects you

Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements
- Other medicines that make you sleepy
How to Use
- Take PRAMIPEX 0.5MG exactly as your doctor tells you to
- Taking this medicine after food may lower your chances of getting nausea
- Swallow the tablet with small amount of water
If you take more PRAMIPEX 0.5MG
- If you accidentally take more PRAMIPEX 0.5MG, you should tell your doctor at once or go to the nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take PRAMIPEX 0.5MG
- If you miss a dose, do not double your next dose
- Skip the dose you missed and take your next regular dose
If you stop taking PRAMIPEX 0.5MG
- Be sure to tell your doctor right away if you stop taking PRAMIPEX 0.5MG for any reason. Do not start taking PRAMIPEX 0.5MG again before speaking with your doctor. If you have Parkinson’s disease and are stopping PRAMIPEX 0.5MG, you should stop PRAMIPEX 0.5MG slowly over 7 days
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Serious
- Falling asleep during normal daily activities
- Low blood pressure when you sit or stand up quickly - you may have dizziness, nausea, fainting, or sweating. Sit and stand up slowly after you have been sitting or lying down for a while
- Hallucinations - you may see, hear, feel, or taste something that isn’t there. You have a higher chance of having hallucinations if you are over 65 years old
Common
- Nausea, constipation
- Hallucinations, confusion, sleepiness, dizziness
- Insomnia, muscle weakness and abnormal movements
