Introduction
What APRECAP 125MG is used for?
It is used:
- In combination with other medicines in patients 12 years of age and older to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy (cancer treatment)
- In adults to prevent nausea and vomiting after surgery
Warning & Precautions
Talk to Doctor
Talk to your doctor before you take this medicine, if you:
- Are allergic to Aprepitant or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Have liver disease
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
- you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
- Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age
Driving & Using Machines
- Consult your doctor for advice
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- Pimozide (antipsychotic)
How to Use
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- It can be taken with or without food
- Swallow the medicine whole with water
If you take more APRECAP 125MG
- Do not take more medicines than the recommended dose
If you forget to takeAPRECAP 125MG
- If you or the child has missed a dose, contact your doctor immediately
If you stop taking APRECAP 125MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Serious
Adults:
- Constipation, indigestion
- Headache
- Tiredness
- Loss of appetite
- Hiccups
- Changes in liver function tests
- Decrease in white blood cell count
- Diarrhea
- Low blood pressure
Children:
- Decrease in white and red blood cell count
- Headache, tiredness
- Diarrhea
- Decreased appetite
- Cough
- Hiccups

Storage
- Protect from excess heat and light
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children
- Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
